Dr. Jeffrey Schein is the senior consultant for Jewish education for the Mordecai Kaplan Center for Jewish Peoplehood as well as its former director. For over forty years, he has guided Jewish rabbi and educators in their professional growth. He is the author of a dozen books and over fifty articles about contemporary Jewish life. He is a graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and the doctoral program in curriculum studies of Temple University.
